Back to Work Programme

LionHeart is able to offer unemployed beneficiaries who are actively seeking work, and who have a reasonable prospect of returning to employment, the opportunity to benefit from an outplacement service provided by Chiumento Consulting Group Limited.
This individual service consists of up to 6 coaching sessions (9 hours) with a Chiumento consultant, over a period of up to 4 months, to successfully prepare individuals for their job search.
Additionally, each participant will receive:
A comprehensive Job Search Kit.
CV production design and word processing from individuals final draft
Access to Chiumento online the full range of support services available from Chiumento online with a time-limited password allowing access for a 4 month period
Attendance at up to 2 Chiumento learning events
Access to a telephone/fax helpline for the duration of the service and for a further 4 weeks after the final session
The objective
The programme will be tailored to individual requirements, whether the participant is looking to find a new job, develop or change their career, or set up their own business/consultancy. Chiumento will help participants to discover opportunities and to:
Grow self-awareness and confidence as they plan the right career move
Identify personal strengths and opportunities for development
Develop an effective CV that will gain interviews in targeted organisations
Effectively prepare for interviews; explore all aspects of the job market, research potential employers and develop a support network
Explore, evaluate, and successfully implement a strategy to re-enter the market
Chiumento is not an employment agency and cannot provide jobs, but it can help participants to take advantage of employment opportunities which exist but which may not be immediately obvious.
How can beneficiaries apply?
Beneficiaries seeking work who wish to be considered to join the programme are requested to email their current CV to info@lionheart.org.uk. This will be forwarded to Chiumento, whose consultant will contact the applicant and arrange for an initial consultation to assess whether the programme will suit their needs. Acceptance on the programme is at the absolute discretion of LionHeart and Chiumento.

What does it cost to join the LionHeart programme?
The programme is provided free to beneficiaries of LionHeart, but it is hoped that participants show will their appreciation for the assistance provided by making a regular donation by direct debit or standing order to LionHeart when they return to work, thereby enabling the charity to help others in need.
