Executive Assistant vacancy

LionHeart can trace its roots back over 100 years although more recently we have developed from a traditional benevolent fund to a multi-layered, multi-faceted service delivery organisation which offers tailored support from in-house counselling, to employment and financial support.

We are now looking for an experienced, talented Executive Assistant working three days a week to facilitate the smooth running of the organisation. This will include effective planning and organisation of the Chief Executive’s workload and diary commitments as well as administration of the board, management procedures and processes. 

Our perfect candidate will be a proficient, highly organised and conscientious secretary, PA or EA with experience working at senior executive level.  As well as overseeing and maintaining the CEO’s diary, you will minute board meetings and ensure board members are equipped with information, prepare agendas and liaise with suppliers and partners.  

On our ‘must have’ list:
  • Demonstrable experience in a comparable secretarial, PA or Executive Assistant role
  • Expertise in diary management and coordination
  • Strong general administrative skills e.g. minute taking, touch typing and note-taking 
  • Highly proficient in full suite of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to act with discretion and confidentiality 
  • Natural problem solving mindset with ability to work with own initiative
  • Exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing
