Bite-size stress management sessions now available

A series of ‘coffee break length’ webinar sessions run throughout April to mark Stress Awareness Month are now available to watch in the LionHeart webinar library.
The bite-sized sessions were developed in response to feedback from surveyors who said short sessions would be perfect to fit into their busy days, and each of the four sessions focused on different techniques to help people manage stress better.
Jo Grant, LionHeart’s training and wellbeing projects manager, said: “We know from the people who call LionHeart for help that stress and burnout are big factors in poor mental health. Stress awareness and wellbeing subjects are consistently among the most popular of our live webinars and podcast episodes so we hope that these short sessions now available in our webinar library will be a useful additional resource for those who want to understand some of the techniques that can be used to manage stress more effectively.
“In a recent poll that LionHeart ran on LinkedIn, 45% of the people who responded said that they felt stressed at work as regularly as once a week. A further 31% said it was an ‘almost constant’ thing. Prolonged periods of stress can have a really detrimental impact on physical and mental health so we’d urge people to take a look – and remember that our support officers and counsellors are here to offer further one-to-one support and guidance where necessary.”
