John O'Halloran Symposium

The aim of these events is to challenge the stigma attached to mental illness and to raise awareness of the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing.

The first event in 2016, in memory of John O'Halloran FRICS, aimed to be a conversation starter within the property industry and act as a catalyst for change.

In 2017 we hope to build on this, with three symposium events that will tie in with the theme of Mental Health Awareness Week which runs from 8th to 14th May.

We will have a thought-provoking programme of speakers who will discuss the significance of mental health, along with its importance within the workplace.

There will also be the chance to hear personal experiences from people within the property industry and find out what steps can be taken to show you and your organisation are committed to raising awareness of mental health and supporting employees in need.

This year’s first symposium will be in London during Mental Health Awareness Week, followed by events in Manchester and Bristol.
