2018 Review of the Year

2018 has been another big year for the team at LionHeart and we’re proud to have made a difference to the lives of hundreds of people.
We’ve welcomed new members to the team as we look to build on the last five years of growth with an ambitious new strategy which will take us through to 2024.
We also appointed Peter McCrea FRICS as our new chair of the board, welcomed Caroline Legg MRICS as a new trustee, and bid farewell to some long-serving trustees.
One of the biggest changes for us has been a move to a new city - only the second time LionHeart has relocated in its 120-year history - vacating our old offices in Westwood Heath, Coventry, after the RICS decided to move its Midlands operation to Birmingham city centre. Moving to self-contained offices in the same building means means we can continue to build on strong working relationships with RICS staff and foster new ones with other property firms locally.
This year we also took our John O’Halloran mental health symposium on the road to four UK cities, delivered sessions for a number of our corporate partner firms, and welcomed hundreds of RICS professionals to our workshops or webinars.
We’ve also supported more counselling clients than ever before, helped several people back into work after periods of unemployment, and given grants to help people through the toughest of times, including illness or bereavement. We’re proud that the people we’ve helped, on average, give a satisfaction score of 97 out of 100 for the support services they received.
We’d like to share this Review of the Year in pictures with all of our supporters, without whom we wouldn’t be able to do what we do - thanks once again for your continued support.
Merry Christmas!
